Two Books Shall Be Opened

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead small and great, stand before God; And the book s were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. MEMORY VERSE 12:1-3.

It is an eternal truth that God will judge everybody both the living and the dead according to their deeds. when one accepts Jesus as his or her Lord personal Saviour and begins to live in obedience to the word of God, his or her name will be written in the book of life. We can safely deduce from our opening text that there are books and there's a book.

The books contain the names of all the wicked and sinful people who refused to repent. They also contain the names of careless believers who confess Christ and at the same time live in sin and wickedness. In fact the number of these people accounts for why the books are many.

The only way for your name to be written in the book of life is to reject sin and wickedness and practice true Holiness through our Lord Jesus. I must warn that any Righteousness practiced outside the umbrella of Jesus through accepting Him as the only true and wise Saviour will be unacceptable.

In other words, your goodness without salvation will lead to eternal loss in hell. No man can n deceive GOD as He knows everything we do in open and in secret. And so only those who are known in Heaven will have their names in the book of life.

What are we talking about here is a very serious matter, so you have to quickly stop any evil act that will disqualify you from not having your name written in the book of life. You can ask the Lord to search you are unsure to avoid being disappointed on that dreadful day when all the ungodly men and women, boys and girls will be cast into everlasting flames ( hellfire)

From the foregoing explanation, is your name in the book of life? Your lifestyle will determine which one but if you are wise, you can quickly have your name withdrawn from the books of death and transferred into the book of life by vowing to live right after going through this message.
