LEARN TO BEFRIEND GOD

In order to always have quick access to the throne of God and have our prayers answered, we must learn to befriend God. To befriend God, we must learn to adore Him whose power is limitless, total and beyond the boundary of human language and limitation.

In the book Psalm 42 vs 1

As the heart panteth after the water Brooks, "so panteth my soul after thee, O God

We need to learn to pant after God. The word panteth means to crave and to hunger after God. Even though David was already a king, he still ignored his position and went after God. You need to desire the presence of God more than anything else.

Long after Him, because He alone holds what you are looking for. Only He can go to Satan's bank and get back your money that had been there for you. God is the only one that can restore all that the enemy has stolen from you.

One of the greatest things in life is to find out what you can do to befriend this great God. In book of John 15:14 the Bible says, ye are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.

The Bible is simply saying that you should obey God if you say you are His friend. Paul said in

Thessalonians 2 vs 10

Ye are witnesses and God also, how holily and justly and unblamably we behaved ourselves among you that believe.

Paul had behaved justly, holily and unblamably. We need to be able to say this for ourselves. Christianity is all about character and character is what you are in the absence of the crowd and what you do with leisure hour.

When you become a friend of God, He will fight your battle for you.

You need to know that purity is power. Ask God to help you deal with the weakness of your father's house so that, that weakness will not destroy you.

I pray, may God give us the grace to become His friend, in Jesus mighty name AMEN.
